PORTSMOUTH

Tuesday, Feb. 7

Philip Van Horn Duckett, 18, of 470 Sandy Point Ave., Portsmouth, was charged at 1:50 p.m. with vandalizing the Glen Park picnic lawn by driving over it with a car.

Thursday, Feb. 9

At 12:46 a.m., police charged Michele A. Lefort, 42, of 827 Anthony Road, Portsmouth, with domestic simple assault for allegedly shoving her husband.

At 12:46 a.m., Bristol Police delivered Derek J Correia, 21, of 21 Easton Ave., Portsmouth, to Portsmouth Police. He was wanted on a warrant for two counts of simple assault dating to Jan. 4 and Feb. 2.

Bristol Police handed over Robert E. House Jr., 22, of 97 Massasoit Ave., Portsmouth, to Portsmouth Police on a warrant for simple assault (Jan. 31).

Friday, Sept. 10

At 10:26 p.m., Daniel R. Cotta, 50, of Exeter, was charged with drunk driving and refusing a chemical breath test after he was stopped for speeding and lane violations on East Main Road.

After they stopped him for texting while driving on West Main Road, police charged Maxwell R. Cohn, 18, of Farmington, Conn., with underage possession of alcohol because a 30-pack of beer was found in his car.

Sunday, Feb. 12

A gray Toyota was found almost completely submerged by the boat ramp at Weaver Cove at 12:25 a.m. Police learned that the car had been stolen while parked in a lot off Memorial Boulevard in Newport.

Monday, Feb. 6

At 8:07 a.m., the caretaker at a Meeting House Lane address reported that the mailbox and post for that location had been vandalized overnight.

Thursday, Feb. 9

At 12:02 p.m., after a traffic stop on John Dyer Road, Steven Demers, 52, of Pawtucket, was charged under a Family Court bench warrant with failure to appear.

Sunday, Feb. 12

At 9:33 a. m. the owner of a West Main Road business reported that several buildings on his property had been broken into overnight, and that power tools and landscaping equipment had been stolen.

TIVERTON

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Joseph Daanunciacao, 19, of Fall River, was charged at 10:32 a.m. with robbery in the first degree in connection with an incident on Jan. 25, in which he allegedly pulled a knife and robbed over $600 from an acquaintance who was walking along Main Road in the early afternoon.

At 10:39 p.m., Dori M. Drowne, 46, of 395 Highland Road, Tiverton, was charged with driving with an invalid license, under the influence of alcohol, and in possession of marijuana, after she was stopped for erratic driving and speeding.

Gina Ruggieri, 35, of Cranston, was charged at 11:10 p.m. with making crank or obscene calls.

Friday, Feb. 10

After telephoning a person at work , Marie Van Cala, 56, of 32 Cala Avenue, Tiverton, was charged at 9:43 a.m. with violation of a no-contact order and making crank calls.

At 2:59 p.m., Gregory P. Alleva, 36, of 57 Shove Street, Tiverton, was charged under two bench warrants with failure to pay fines.

Saturday, Feb. 11

After being stopped for driving doughnuts at 6:54 p.m. on the sand at Grinnell’s Beach in her Trailblazer, Brandy Reynolds, 18, of 34 John Duggan Road, Tiverton, was charged with vandalism.

Sunday, Feb. 12

James M. Murray, 30, of 301 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton, was charged at 12:45 a.m. with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a disturbance at a local pub.

At 3:27 p.m., Laura Pedro, 31, of Woonsocket, was charged under an affidavit and arrest warrant for writing and passing fraudulent checks.
