PORTSMOUTH — The Second Annual Portsmouth Middle School Athletic Boosters Club Patriots Plunge will take place, Sunday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. at Sandy Point Beach.
The plunge will raise funds for athletic programs at Portsmouth Middle School.
PMSABC is a nonprofit organization that provides financial support for boys and girls soccer, baseball and softball.
They also donate funds to other athletic programs at the school to help defray those costs.
All funds are raised through donations and fundraising.
The PMSABC is looking for support this weekend at the Patriots Plunge. All are encouraged to sponsor a participant, donate online at www.pmsabc.com, or mail in a donation to PMSABC c/o Portsmouth Middle School, 125 Jepson Lane, Portsmouth, R.I., 02871.
PMS currently holds the 2011 Rhode Island State Championship titles for baseball and girls’ soccer.
