On Thursday, Dec. 15, Portsmouth High School photography students Kailiana Dunlap, Jackie Sunderland and Sara Cooney and their teacher, Janet Kasparian, participated as volunteers and photographers in the Gingerbread Express Event at the William D’Abate School in Olneyville, South Providence. The yearly event is sponsored by the NEARI Children’s Fund and is made possible by donations from hundreds of members, friends, and caregivers in Rhode Island. The celebration is a happy occasion that brings joy to children and volunteers alike. Photographs that capture the magic of the event will be on display in the Portsmouth High School Atrium during February.
